Competition

Competition singlets will be available for purchase this year through Barbarian apparel. This is a significantly lower cost than past years and the singlets are yours to keep. However, they must be ordered before the gear store closes October 22.

This year, OYWA matches are expected to be every other Sunday in December and January at North Olmsted High School. We plan to compete in other tournaments and matches during the “off” weeks.

Gold team wrestles in the OYWA morning sessions. The top wrestler in each weight class will wrestle in dual matches and others will wrestle exhibitions. We also plan to compete in other select duals, and individual tournaments throughout the season including OAC tournaments.

Maroon team wrestles in the OYWA “All-Star” sessions Sundays starting at noon. Additionally, we plan to compete in a few novice tournaments. Competition is always optional for novice wrestlers.
