Mini Shoremen! (K-1st grade)
We’re excited to bring back our 6-week program for kindergarten and first grade.
November 4 – December 11
Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 pm
Avon Lake High School (wrestling room)
Cost is $125 and includes practices and a shirt
Youth Wrestling (2nd – 6th Grade)
Cost is $175 and includes practices, shirt, OYWA matches, and select tournaments. Wrestlers will be split into 2 teams, Gold (advanced) and Maroon (novice).

Singlets
We are using Barbarian Apparel again this year for our singlets. We’ll wear the Maroon singlet again as our primary OYWA/All-star uniform, all Maroon & Gold team members should have this one. Check to see if yours still fits from last season or follow the link to purchase a new one.
The team store closes October 26th so make sure you get your order in. These will not be available after that date.

Competition
OYWA matches are every other Sunday in December and January at North Olmsted High School. We will compete in other tournaments and matches during the “off” weeks.
Gold team wrestles in the OYWA morning sessions. The top wrestler in each weight class will wrestle in dual matches and others will wrestle exhibitions. We also plan to compete in other select duals, and individual tournaments throughout the season including OAC tournaments.
Maroon team wrestles in the OYWA “All-Star” sessions Sundays starting at noon. Additionally, we plan to compete in a few novice tournaments. Competition is always optional for novice wrestlers.
